In-Home Dog Training Programs
Our programs offer all the perks of dog training programs, but in the comfort of your own home! We will come to your home Monday through Thursday* to work with your dog on overall obedience and manners, impulse control and developing a good off-switch. This program is catered to your personal goals and each dog’s individual personality.
There is no need for you to be present for the daily lessons as we will focus on your dog for the first three days of each week. Every dog will get outside time in their yard and/or neighborhood during these visits and, at the end of each week, you will meet with your trainer to go over the training and learn how to work with your dog. You will be given “homework” to work on over the weekend to ensure that your dog learns to work with you and that you understand the training.

Training takes place in your home, where your dog’s real behavior happens.
We work with your dog Monday through Thursday, focusing on building skills throughout the week. At the end of each week, we meet with you to review the training and teach you how to maintain the progress your dog has made.
This ensures that your dog learns to work with you, not just the trainer.

THREE-WEEK PROGRAM
More than basic commands — this is the program that builds the kind of reliability most dog owners are looking for.
Training takes place primarily in your home. At the end of each week, trainer meets with owner to: review progress, practice commands together, and teach long-term maintenance.
By the end of the program, you’ll have a well-trained dog and the ABILITY to reinforce the training long-term.

Our Board & Train programs are just as rooted in real-world results. Your dog trains and lives with us — and when they come home, we come with them. We’re the only trainer in Middle Georgia who completes in-home transition sessions after every Board & Train to make sure the training sticks where it matters most.

What exactly is a Board and Train Camp?
A Board & Train program is an immersive training experience where your dog comes to live and train with us for the duration of the program. Rather than brief weekly sessions, your dog receives focused, consistent training every single day in a structured environment. This accelerated approach produces faster results and is ideal for owners who want significant progress without the daily time commitment of an in-home program.
How is Confident K9's Board & Train different from other programs?
Most Board & Train programs drop your dog back off at home when the program ends and leave you to figure out the rest. At Confident K9 we do things differently. We are the only trainer in Middle Georgia who completes in-home transition sessions after every Board & Train program to make sure the training transfers successfully into your home and your routine. Your dog didn’t learn in your environment — so we come back and make sure everything bridges the gap between where they trained and where they live.
Is Board & Train right for my dog?
Board & Train is a great fit for dogs that need faster progress, owners with busy schedules who can’t commit to the daily involvement of an in-home program, or dogs that would benefit from an immersive, structured environment. Will my dog listen to me after the Board & Train or just to the trainer?
This is one of the most common concerns we hear — and it’s exactly why we include in-home transition sessions at the end of every program. By the time we’re finished, we work directly with you to make sure your dog responds to your commands, not just ours. We teach you how to handle your dog, maintain the training, and communicate clearly so that the results last long after the program ends.
