Training Built From Real experience

We had a great experience boarding our puppy for 4 nights. Drop off and pickup went flawlessly. Knowing my puppy was in good hands is priceless.

Confident k9 is great! Shelby works with your dog one-one and you can really tell she is passionate about training. She cares, and absolutely loves what she does. I was amazed at how quickly my dog was trained. She not only trains your dog, she works with you, as well, to make sure your dog gets the best training possible.

Really can't say enough good things about the work Shelby did with our Mini Aussie. We just really didn't have the time to work with her the way she needed and Shelby came in and gave us the support we needed. Bindi is an entirely different dog! Shelby is extremely kind and professional, an excellent combination. Give her some time with your dog and you won't be able to miss the results.

Shelby has been amazing to work with while helping our one-year-old Australian Shepherd, Josie. When Josie first came to us, she had significant fear and anxiety that showed up as aggression toward guests. We actually stopped having people over because of her behavior. Shelby has completely changed the dynamics of our home. She taught us how to clearly communicate our expectations to Josie and helped us understand why Josie was reacting the way she was. We especially appreciate how Shelby explains the psychology behind our dog’s behavior in a way that is practical and easy to apply. My husband and I are grateful for the guidance she has given us and for helping us become better stewards and leaders for Josie. We are now seeing real, consistent improvement. Shelby has been great to work with. We got our golden retriever, Mary, when she was 9 weeks old and Shelby started working with her at 12 weeks. I am amazed at what she has been able to accomplish with what seemed to be a wild puppy. I now have a 7 month old girl who listens to direction and is so very in tune with commands and knows what is expected of her - all while maintaining her sweet personality. We owe that to Shelby - she has been so patient with Mary (and with me). She has also helpes us to figure out how to integrate Mary's young personality with our 10 yr old dog Alice (so Mary doesn't pick up on Alice's never been trained personality 🙂) I highly recommend Shelby to anyone needing help with their pup! Mary adores her.

We are very pleased with the training our beloved dog received, Shelby is kind, patient and had great manners while training our dog, he loves her and she was able to work with us so that he can now socialize with people and other dogs without issues. We had a great experience with Shelby and her Confident K9 training program. Before training, our french bulldog (Blaze) was super hyper and had a hard time staying calm around other people. After working with her, he has drastically improved. He is calm, well-behaved, and listens to commands even when there is a lot going on around him. What really stood out was how patient and caring Shelby is and not just with the dog but with the owners too. During the home home sessions, she taught us and made sure we understood everything required to keep up with the training. You can tell she truly loves what she does and wants the best for every dog she works with. We are beyond happy with the results. I would recommend Shelby to anyone looking to have their dog trained the right way!

Shelby has been great to work with! My rescue is over a year old and has a lot of work to do, but I feel confident that Shelby will be there for us every step of the way! 1000% recommend Shelby! We adopted a German shepherd puppy and I could already tell he was going to be a handful. So I started to look at local trainers. I didn’t like the idea of sending him away so when I saw that she comes to your house I already had a good feeling. After our first phone call I was already feeling very hopeful. I have 3 kids so my schedule can be chaotic at times. Shelby was great at working in training on our schedule and adjusting when needed. One of the main things I wanted him to be better at was walking on a leash. It was not enjoyable for anyone! Within the FIRST WEEK our walks went from chaos to enjoyable and so easy. If that was all that was accomplished I would have been thrilled. But he, well WE, have accomplished so much more with training. One of my favorite things is the lifetime support. I tend to have a lot of questions or forget certain things and Shelby has never made me feel like an annoyance. Not only is she an amazing dog whispering trainer but also a joy to be around!

Shelby has been absolutely fantastic to work with! Piper has been basically a new dog after she has been trained. Not only has she trained Piper but also trained me on how to keep up with it. I would definitely recommend this for everyone!
