How Confident K9 Began
My journey with dog training began in 2016 when I brought home a blue heeler puppy named Bleu. I quickly realized that I bit off more than I could chew and was desperate for help! By the time Bleu was 4 months old, he was displaying serious behavioral issues, including aggression towards both dogs and humans. As a last resort, I contacted the shelter who put me in contact with a local trainer.
It was through this experience that a passion was ignited and I realized how much I enjoyed dog training.
Originally starting as an apprentice, I spent six years working for a dog training facility, developing my craft and honing my skills under their leadership and guidance. From here, Confident K9 was born in an effort to empower dog owners through in-home training designed to eliminate behavior issues and neighborhood triggers right at the source.
