Our Foundational Home School program is designed for those who are looking to establish a solid foundation and a strong bond with their furry companions. This program provides the essential training and skills needed to lay the groundwork for a well-behaved and obedient dog.

PROGRAM DETAILS

On-leash Obedience and Manners: Through our comprehensive training, your dog will learn important commands such as Sit, Place, and Down with an implied Stay. These commands will help establish clear behavior expectations and improve your dog’s overall obedience.

Marker Words: for Clear Behavior Expectations: We will teach you and your dog specific “marker words” that serve as clear signals for desired behaviors. This communication method enhances understanding and facilitates effective training.

Off-Switch Training: Teaching your dog to have an off-switch is crucial for a balanced and well-behaved companion. Our program focuses on developing impulse control and energy regulation, helping your dog maintain a calm and relaxed demeanor when needed.

House Training: We understand the importance of a well-trained dog in a home environment. Our program includes house training techniques to ensure your dog understands appropriate behavior indoors, promoting a harmonious living space.

Training Material: You will receive access to our online/in-person training material, which serves as a valuable resource for continued practice and reinforcement outside of the training sessions.

Prong Collar: As part of the program, a prong collar will be provided to assist with training and to help reinforce obedience and good manners.
